Keeping Clean after the 4th of July!
Carbon Valley Rotary Club presented a $675 check on May 14, 2024 to support the I Have a Dream program at Frederick High School. The club has been supporting the students for eight years since they were 3rd Graders at Thunder Valley K-8. Club members begin each meeting with "Happy Dollars" - sharing something they are happy or thankful for that took place the prior week. These monies are collected to donate to the I Have a Dream program.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to Hart Park for our annual community Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th. We had a record number of children and families attend the event - we gave out over 1,000 free books and 12,500 candy filled eggs, and estimate 1,500 children, and 2,500 total attendees.
Carbon Valley Rotary Club presented a $2,000 check on Jan. 9, 2024 to support Suicide Education and Support Services (SESS) provided by North Range Behavioral Health. This is the fourth year in a row the Club has supported the program which provides Community outreach to reduce the stigma that keeps people from getting help when they are thinking about suicide. The SAFE:Teen program is designed to provide resources, help, and hope to middle/high school aged students. The students learn warning signs and walk away feeling empowered to reach out for support. 
The Carbon Valley Rotary Club is a dynamic group of energetic individuals making a positive difference in our area through community involvement with a focus on youth, literacy and mental health.
